Welcome back to Nerd Central for all things, gaming, movies, and television news.
Gaming
Sony had its Playstation reveal this week containing multiple new games as well as their new console, the Playstation 5. (More can be found in the Quarantine Section)
GTA V Online will be free with the PS5 launch.
IGN is hosting its Summer of Gaming an E3-like event revealing new games this summer.
EA is making a new Star Wars game called Star Wars: Squadron.
Last of Us Part II has received praise with a Metacritic score of 96
Movies
A large number of DC movies will be taken off HBO Max on July 1, such as Wonder Woman and Justice League.
Many movies have once again been postponed and rescheduled.
Television
Cops have officially been canceled after running for 32 seasons.
Quarantine
Sony recently had a reveal showing off their new console, and so this week is the top five games they revealed at the event.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales - A standalone game within the Spider-Man PS4 universe. This time you will play as Miles Morales, this will be exclusive to the Playstation 5 as one of its launch titles.
Horizon Zero Dawn: Forbidden West - A direct sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn will be once again an exclusive for Playstation. It is unclear on the release date; however, it had some stunning visuals.
Deathloop - A unique new game by the creators of Dishonored it is about two rival assassins stuck within a time loop. The game is shown to be a multiplayer game with a unique one versus one ratio. This will be on all next-generation consoles.
Tokyo Ghostwire - A unique game that seems to look similar to Bioshock with a horror twist. The exact date is not yet known but is most likely to release in 2021. This will be a next-generation exclusive.
Little Devil Inside - Many of the games had a 60s aesthetic; however, the unique gameplay shown felt new and fresh. This Indie game has been developed for a while and is set to release for the Playstation 5.
